Craigleith Provincial Park is a very small park tucked between Highway 26 and Georgian Bay, but it has a very convenient location west of Collingwood and just north of Blue Mountain Resort. The park has an intriguing, fossil shale shoreline, fishing, playground, picnic shelter, nature interpretive programs and camping. It also has a fascinating history as a former shale oil development. The shoreline is a favourite spot for Rainbow trout and salmon fishing in autumn.
