Kincardine has an extensive beachfront along Lake Huron where visitors can enjoy picnicking, water sports, fishing and viewing the manicured flower gardens along the Sunset Promenade and at Dunsmoor Park rock garden. The Station beach is a favourite spot for windsurfing since the shoreline produces good sized waves during windy weather. The promenade has a boardwalk and gazebo for strolling and admiring the famous Lake Huron sunsets, while north of the harbour, Lover's Lane provides intimate surroundings for romantic walks along the beach. Children can romp in the Rotary playground located at the south end of the beach. Other summer attractions include the fish hatchery, harbour, dance pavilion, car cruise nights, Wednesday evening concerts and Sunday sing-alongs at Dunsmoor Park.
