Kingsville Historical Park & Charlie Campbell Military Museum

The Museum building holds collections regarding the United Empire Loyalists and artifacts and information on the People of Essex County and their involvement in the defense of their country in the Fenian Raids, Boer War, World War 1, World War 2, Korea, Cold War, Peacekeeping, Bosnia, Afghanistan and much more.

Two new displays featuring police uniforms from three different groups: the OPP, RCMP, and the Kingsville Police Force and a display of municipal flags from Gosfield North, Gosfield South, and Kingsville from pre-amalgamation until present are available. A recent article in the Kingsville Reporter on Jan 13, 2015 described the flags in detail.

The mission of the Kingsville Historical Park is to provide information for future generations pertaining to the sacrifices of the men and women in the military as well as the contributions of early settlers and native Canadians to the lifestyle we presently enjoy in this county.

"We do not glorify the acts of war, but remember the consequences and the cost of our freedom. Future generations must learn about man's inhumanity to man so they, in turn will value man's humanity.".. Charlie Campbell
