Ontario's Bluewater regions are home to numerous artists who draw their inspiration from the beauty of their locales. Artist studios, shops and galleries display superb art and artisan works that are much sought after by collectors.

 


Circle Arts
Since 1969, Circle Arts has represented some of Canada’s finest artists and artisans, many of whom are inspired by the unique energy, spirit and landscape of Georgian Bay and the Bruce Peninsula. Circle Arts has six distinctive gallery spaces. In the lower gallery, you will find glassware, woodwork, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints and fabric art. All are one of a kind. In five upper galleries you will find sculptural works, paintings, photographs, prints and unique furniture creations. With up to 70 artists, there is truly something for everyone.

Glass in Motion - Grand Bend
Glass In Motion is owned and operated by Sharon and Garry White.We became interested in glass after visiting a glass studio on Granville Island in Vancouver in 2005. Working with glass as an artistic medium soon became our passion. We opened our Sauble Beach studio in 2008 and the Grand Bend location in 2013. In our studios we create lamp worked focal pendants, ear rings and fused glass art. Gibson Gallery
The Gibson Gallery is housed in the former 1896 Michigan Central Railway Station. The Fort Malden Guild of Arts and Crafts (the Gallery Board), in partnership with the Ontario Trillium Foundation, have used funds earned at Art by the River to restore and maintain this beautiful Romanesque style building. The Guild promotes appreciation of the arts and crafts in Amherstburg. The Gallery season features exhibits by local artists, photographers, stitchers as well as travelling exhibits and annual student exhibits. Park House Museum
The Park House is a year round museum catering to the needs of visiting school children, seniors and the general public. It brings the story of Amherstburg and its people to life through programs and exhibits that are created to engage and inspire all who visit. Historically, the Park House is an early example of Pièce sur Pièce log construction and is said to have been built in the 1790s at the mouth of the Rouge River in Detroit. Northern Lights Festival Boréal
