Since 1985, the Ontario Bluewater Visitor Guide magazine has promoted the scenic travel routes, communities and coastal culture from the shores of western Lake Erie and Pelee Island to Lake St. Clair, Lake Huron, Georgian Bay and Manitoulin Island. Now points of interest maps, events, weather and travel advisory along the Bluewater Route are featured online. Started by Peter & Ingrid Hafemann in 1985 as a hard copy tourism guild. Bluewater Tourism went online in 2013 and quickly becoming the leader of online tourism information for Ontario’s Great Lakes regions.

In March of 2017 Bluewater Tourism was purchased by Kirk Neuert and Jessica Berg of the South Bruce Peninsula. As a website designer, Kirk Neuert saw a need an up-tp-date fully functional tourism website. Adding many great features such as Android and IOS Apps, User ratings online accomodations bookings Bluewater Tourism is well on it's way to being the number one tourist information source for the Great Lakes bluewater county.

We use local knowledge. Our team is made of of people that know the areas you are interested in. Our team members live in the comunities that you want to know about. With this local knowledge you get all the best hot spots, hidden gems and a tour of the town as the locals know it.
